Traditionally in the last summer month in the vicinity of Bolshaya Berestovitsa takes place the festival of radio-controlled aircraft models. It is well known far beyond the Berestovitsky district. The lovers of aircraft modeling sports comes to the festival not only from different parts of Belarus, but also from some neighboring countries. This year the festival took place on the 10-11 of August for the 8th time.
The organizers were traditionally the participants of the amateur association of modelers “Vint” and the department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of the district executive committee.
The festival program included different performances, such as an exhibition of airplane models, air combat competitions in the framework of the Cup of Belarus in the class «Soyuz-500», demonstration performances of ship modelers and flights of hydroplanes, master classes on the basics of aircraft models management. This year were additionally included in the program the competitions of World War I aircraft copies in class «Soyuz-700».
Besides there is a good opportunity for the participants of the festival to chat with each other, relax in the lap of nature, listen and sing songs by the fire.
